The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
